The ARK 450 Plus CCPM EP Helicopter ARF is polished to reach performance extremes and the ability to accomplish seemingly impossible maneuvers.
The 120° CCPM control system groups the three control servos (elevator, aileron, pitch) close to the main shaft. This allows for direct linkages (no bellcranks) which reduces slop and provides precise control of the swashplate. Collective pitch control is provided by mixing commands to the three servos. This is done electronically in the transmitter, therefore eliminating the need for on-board mechanical mixing.
The 450 Plus all-metal main rotor head features a responsive 120° eCCPM control system. Control arms and mixinglevers include ball bearings for smooth operation. A machined aluminum swashplate adds precision.
Perfectly suited for brushless motor systems, the model's aluminum frame provides rigidity without unnecessary weight. The 450 Plus is autorotation-capable, with a driven tail for total control.
Micro servos, such as ARK SD109P (SD109P) are recommended. 450 Plus linkages are direct for strength and use ball links on both ends for easy adjustment.
The 450 Plus helicopter's all-aluminum tail gear case includes ball bearings on the driveshaft as well as the idler pulley for the smoothest operation. The belt drive system is strong, efficient, and quiet. A new pitch slider offers precise rudder control.
