The Kontronik Smile speed controls are speed controls for brushless motors. They work without sensors in the motor and have full part load capability. They are very sensitive and have a tender and yet very fast start up. The built-in RPM control optimizes the usage with helicopters and the new mode programming helps essentially to program all the multiple parameters (as EMF-brake strength or undervoltage cut off) of the Smile speed controls.
The Smile speed controls utilize a mode programming. In most cases it makes it unnecessary to program the individual properties itself (as the EMF-brake or the undervoltage cut off).
